Tolerate everything but sin.
Passion causes you to work harder than you should; persistence causes you to work longer than you should; love causes you to care more than you should…welcome to success.
Happiness only comes to those willing to love someone else.
Cooperation, companionship, commitment, compassion, and completeness, equals a great marriage.
Is your Faith “stronger than the storm”? It can be; it must be; it was designed to be.
Sever your ties with your unwillingness to forgive, in order to have an abundant life.
Whatever you cannot pray for you should not have!
Laughter is a form of soul tickling.
You can’t start a new chapter in your life until you close the old one.
Do what you can for those who cannot do for themselves; do nothing for those who could but won’t.
A good imagination is the beginning of hard work.
Never depend on what you do not like.
Never follow somewhere you know you should not go.
When you turn over a new leaf make sure it doesn’t look just like the old one.
Never lean on people who are unsteady.
Wisdom is doing what is right and avoiding doing what is wrong.

Learn to exercise long-term, never-fail, faith.
Prayer is like a Golden Delicious apple pie - sweet, satisfying, and memorable.
Take the first chance you get to turn around your life; each time you pass it by, someone else suffers because of you or with you.
Too many folks pray like they are on a diet with expectations, like a never-ending sidebar.
When you don’t know what else to do …do what is right.
Never measure your performance by what others have done; only measure by your previous efforts.
Doubt puts a chill on your prayers.
It usually takes a little salt to draw the sweetness out of life.
Wisdom is weighed by faith.
The original problem in life was the sin of rebellion; it still is.
Take the first chance you get to turn around your life; each time you pass it by, someone else suffers because of you or with you.
Beware; politicians are living off your dime while spending your inheritance.
Politicians are “cooking the books” while you are stewing.
He told his wife he was being excessively humble; she just laughed.
Life without God may look good from a distance but a close-up will reveal that life’s desperate deterioration.
Prayer is an adventure in Faith.

You cannot forgive the sinner but you can serve him.
Your forgiveness leaves God’s Fingerprint on someone else’s life.
Forgiveness is a kindness that can never be repaid.
Your forgiveness is not someone; you cannot forgive sin, only its effect on you.
Forgiving someone is what we do for God.
Your forgiveness relieves your suffering, not theirs.
If you really want God’s attention, love His enemies.
Repentance and prayer are not your posture but it is your need being addressed by you, where you are now, to the only One who can do something about it.
Your unwillingness to forgive opens the door for your suffering.
Lead with service and the world will take notice.Failure is not a sin, but sin is failure.
Your forgivingness does not give God’s forgiveness.
Your quest in life is not what you leave behind, but where you are headed.
Never leave a congregation, a brother, or a sister-in-the-Lord, without forgiving them.

Your future will be based on how you use the moment you have now.
In the end you will be judged not but by what you gained and left behind; but by what you did with what God gave you and you sent ahead.
In the end there are only sheep and goats; there are no “honorable mentions goats”.
God is the meaning for life; stop looking and start living.
Happiness is not a mystery; it is the understanding and knowing of the One who loves you the most. Life will try to keep you too busy to live.
Dreams are written in sand; it takes hard work to write them in stone.
Lord, thank you for happiness, but without You, I could have never exceeded its limits.
Friend, I am grateful for the time you spent with me, for without it, I would have never learned to miss you.
People can make you mad but disrespecting them makes you bad.
Being a Christian makes it difficult for me to be sad; I can only be sad for those who are

If you’re looking for the credit, you probably won’t accomplish much!
Learn to give less direction; instead, give more inspiration.
Your friends are your greatest treasures here on earth.
Having a Sabbath makes sinners nervous.
More people watch football on Sundays than go to church…but that won’t last long!
The benefits of being loved far exceed the risk of loneliness.
Nature is beautiful to observe in the great outdoors but it is what God has done inside of your heart that is truly amazing.
At the marriage altar, when the minister said I could kiss you, I held amazement in my arms.
It is hard to sow false hope into the faithful. You are too late; Jesus has already come.
Intelligence does cause faithfulness, salvation, or change.
Sin is sin, whether you agree with it or not.
Acceptance does not make sin acceptable.

Experience is the mother of knowledge, and application its father.
Learning by experience leaves the most scars!
You can teach all you want but until you feel the pain it is hard to learn.
Experience only teaches those who are willing to learn.
You can be taught in many ways but you learn by experience.
Without experiencing God you cannot know Him.
Experience can only change the future not the past.
It seems the more I know the less I understand how men think they can function without God.

It is your triflingness that should trouble you the most as it is the underlying cause of most failures.
Success if not doing better than others but doing better than you have before.
There is calm before the storm and a clam after the storm so focus on the clams not the storms.
There will likely be troubles and problems today, so go ahead and have breakfast and then surround them with prayer and get after them.
Know yourself, prepare for you weaknesses, and then get on with your life.
Problems are not to stop you but to help lead you in the right direction.
Your circumstance may be beyond your control but your character is not.
The most common way to give up your power is to not realizing you have any.

Temptations try to be become friendly but they are never your friend.
Temptations often try to use your friendship group to gain a foot hold in your life.
Temptation tends to return again and again until you no longer recognize their intent.
You are rarely tempted to so something good.Temptation feed off your weaknesses. Temptations, often, disguise themselves as fun, daring, or as if you will be left out if you don’t do it.
Old temptations become more and more familiar until they are no longer resisted with the same energy.

Compassion is an extension of Christianity, without it your faith is a fraud.
Forgiving is part of being a Christian, “What you cannot forgive on earth will not be forgive you in Heaven;” it seems without it you can’t be one.
Loving other Christians is part of being a Christian, “Behold how they (Christians) love one another.” Jesus said.
“Loving your neighbor” is not optional for a Christian, neither is “loving your enemies”.
“He that endures to the end shall be saved.”…so perseverance must be important for a Christian.
“Show me your faith by your works,” James said; so doing something for God must be valued by the Father as well.
You cannot not earn your salvation “Lest any man should boast,” yet God, Himself, put some very challenging conditions around salvation in His Word, the Bible

There are thousands of ways to be unhappy and people seem to be chasing every one of them.
Arrogance will always keep you ignorant.
If you do all that you can in any area of your life you will have to leave the other areas of your life with less than you could.
Hardships do not always make you better, sometimes, they just teach you about hardships.
A gentle spirit comforts a troubled heart.
Becoming a teacher is not for the faint of heart.
Monday, August 19, 2013
Your contentment should not be based on your circumstances but on the comfort of His great Hand which protects you.
The church should be filled with people able to forgive and with those who need forgiveness.
It is often not enough to say no to temptation; sometimes you must flee it as well.
Learn to love the unlovable, lovingly.
Prayer gives you “soul focus”, ”problem perspective”, “moment management”, and “life lessons” all at the same time.
A moment with God is worth more than a year with good friends.
Every breath you take is a gift of mercy from God.

Do all you can in life because it is the right thing to do but not the only reason you are here….you are here to praise Him.
It is hard to take advice when you think you are perfect.
It is impossible to be useless when you love someone.
Being alone in a crowd makes you feel the loneliest.
Christians, brag, only after you have made it to Heaven.
You can escape life but you cannot escape death.

A wise man seeks wise friends.
More friends are lost in the pursuit of money than is gained by its possession.
The better your friends are the better you will become.
A friend with a deceptive heart will be your downfall.
A silent friend speaking, not to your weaknesses, becomes your enemy.
The best way to defeat an enemy is to make him a friend.
Friends are the ones who are still there when the battle rages....
No friends no fun.
Friends know when you are lying to yourself but still believe in you.

Regrets are things you refuse to give to God to mend.
The biggest regret you will ever have is when you knew better but you still did it.
Before you start to “mend fences” mend your own.
In order to “pray without ceasing” means you need to be aware of His presents every conscious moment.
Expand your Faith by asking for more of God than you have.
Happiness exudes from those who have learned how to love.
Loving those who are unwilling to be loved is an exercise in Faith, Hope, Patience, and a fulfilling of Jesus’s great command to “love one another”.

A grudge is a landmine placed in your heart.
Whenever you cannot forgive it means you have failed.
Never throw “caution to the wind” without checking the weather.
Prayer is hope, faith, and comfort all rolled up into the one activity.
It is wonderful to be loved; even if you wonder how someone could.
Are you known for being "notoriously happy' or for being "notoriously sad"?
Grudges are ticking time bombs that will cause suffering in someone’s life, around you, when they explode.

Being loved means being valued.
A disciplined soul is an army against cleverest enemy.
You are a product of your thought life.
A wise man invests his life; rather than spending it.
Speak well and others will listen; live will and others will follow.
Beware, living in the strength of a lie is more damaging than living in ignorance....
The problem is not, knowing right from wrong; it is doing right when it is easier to do wrong.
Most often the difference between winning and losing is discipline

The mind of love is run by their heart.
It is OK to leave a new path on an old trail; if the old path leads in the right direction
The price of love, never exceed the cost of its loss.
Marriage allows you to collect wisdom from a different perspective.
Having pre-regrets is a poor way to succeed at anything.
What you see in far more important than what you look at.
Flattery brings a smile to a fool and caution to a wise man.
Persistence makes discipline profitable.
Winners never quit but they can change directions.
What you don’t say will underline what you do say.

Moments are the building blocks of memories.
A sunrise needs no canvass.
Love reminds us of what should never be forgotten.
Love allows us to see through the eyes of another…while sharing our view with them.
The agony of hope comes from the perspiration of prayer.
Your life forms the words of your purpose.
Wednesday, August 07, 2013
The closer you are to God the further you will become from the worldliness that surrounds you.
The trick in life is to give more than you are given, to care more than you are cared about, to pray more than you are prayed for, and to love more than you are loved.
Amassing, for the sake of amassing, will cause a mess.
Love is not a gamble but a chosen way of living.
Being better than you were is the only kind of perfection you can gain.
Gathering possibilities is the best way to spread hope.
Life is not just a game but it is the only game that matters.
Sunday, August 04, 2013
Fortitude is the amount of resolve you have in reserve.
The distance between loved ones is the degree of their commitment.
Strength without endurance is weakness.
What you believe feeds the stamina of your Faith.
One cannot be looking back to see what is coming.
“He that endureth to the end shall be saved”…What could that mean?
Saturday, August 03, 2013
Being prepared is less important than
being pre-prayed.
Little improves your looks more than kindness.
Persistence carries with it the seeds of opportunity. A beautiful mind thinks good of others, beautiful tongues speaks praises of others, beautiful eyes see the best in others, and beautiful hands do good for others.
We become what we allow our thoughts to be!
The appetite for wisdom begins with choosing to taste the truth.
A person, who understands you, has been where you are going or is at least willing to travel with you to where you are headed.
A persistent lie becomes an accepted truth.

A repeated lie begins to sound like the truth.

Answered prayers are each a wonder in themselves.
Wonder is a sort of heart amazement.
Why is the sweetness of Salvation so bitter for a sinner to swallow?
Faith is the author of spectacular hope!
Measure with love, give with love, live with love, and love will be your heritage.
When compassion becomes your passion your life has a permanent purpose.
