A Smoky Mountain HI

Here is a journey I make each day. Time flows on this side of eternity. I have aged as gracefully as reasonable as can be be expected, and yet feel not a day older in my mind. As I begin a life in the Smoky Mountains I hope you will share my journey as well. www.kleincabin.com

Selfishness is pride turned within, and it soon becomes a cancer of your character.
Temptation is a challenge of trust; preying on  the fallibility of my own wisdom.
While choosing a stone to throw at another, I most often pick up the one I eventually stumble over.
Blessings age well; sin does not.
It is hard to list to the truths from another while your mind is occupied with your own distractions... Exercise Faith, Focus, or Fail.
Temptation is always a battle if wills; His will or my will, but I get to choose...Temporarily...
One of the challenges in life is having to listen to those who have so little to say, yet take so long to say it.
The most distinguishing things about your life will not be what you say; but what you do.

"When it is all said and done." It will be Jesus saying it; and Jesus doing it.
The only to make marriage work is to turn it into a life long love affair.
A wound from a friend, festers more than one from an enemy, injuring your body, spirit, heart and soul.
Cutting words are like swallowing broken glass wounding one over and over again.
Jesus cannot be your friend until He is your Master.

Personal integrity will likely decrease the number of your friends but should also increase the quality of the them.
Wisdom keeps you out of the ditches on your journey through life but humility should keep you from bragging about it.
When life you have created becomes painful enough then is when you consider a change...but why does it take so painfully long?
Inspiration without willingness brings frustration failure, and futility.
Selfishness is the prince of loneliness.

Never try to do what you know God doesn't want you to do because even if you succeed at it you will have failed.
Never be afraid of and never apologize for, the joy, the Father provides for you; or for the happiness He gives you in Christ Jesus...NEVER.
Use "compassionate discipline" on yourself and others under your authority. Compassionate discipline is done from the Father's perspective.
Negative Christians can discourage shinning Christians from their calling. God never called us to be negative but He only asked us to SHINE.
An unhappy Christian is a misnomer...like impossible.

Disappointment is the World's answer to life's choices; if you belong to God there are no disappointment in Him, in life yes, in Him never.
Even the blind can see kindness and the deaf can hear kindness. Kindness is heard in what you say but is only felt by what you do.
Prayer is a listener's paradise...and a talker's demise.
Wisdom knows, how little it knows.
The question is not what God owes you or what you owe Him, but the question should be "How much do you know and accept of His Love for you?"
People will judge you by what you don't do, as well as, by what you are doing.

Truth will always cost you less than a lie.

The more evil you imbibe, the less room there is for good to survive in you.

A cult is or soon becomes a self-centered religion…Never a Christ-centered relationship.

Intelligence will never lead you to repentance; only a tender heart can point you in that direction.

It is not the Red Cross but the Red Blood shed on the Cross that can save you.

Once you have been exposed to the Gospel, you only have two choices; accept it or regret it.
Evil’s purpose is to hinder good.
The human carnal heart only sees good in relationship to itself, a loving heart sees good in relationship to others, the righteous heart sees good as God’s will.
Evil will always threaten good and good deeds.
We are disobedient by nature with no desire to become obedient to God or society. Society puts you in jail if you don’t; God sends you to Hell if you don’t; but people tend to fear jail over Hell….Go figure?

When people demand that you be more tolerant they mean more tolerant of what they want & believe not them being more tolerant of your views.

God loves you, not because He needs you, but because He created you to be loved by Him.
If you are a believer, you ought to behave like His child.
Really, it is not as hard to be a Christian, as it is not to be one.
You can be a church member and even a follower of Jesus without being a Christian, but you cannot be a Christian without repenting, changing, following and obeying, Jesus.
The one thing in life you can be certain of, is that Jesus, is always right.

It never hurts to go to an altar to pray but it can become very painful when you don’t.
Ministry is hard, being a spectator is not…Ministry is useful, being a spectator is not.
God giving up on you….is an impossibility spread by Satan.
God will never be less to you than your heart desires Him to be.
Feel sorry for those who were raised amidst the abundance of things but with extreme spiritual poverty in their soul.

May the core of you be godly because if that is true,
everything else about you becomes a ministry.
The core of man can only be good if it has been redeemed.
Christians: to appreciate your freedom; you must remember your bondage.
Christian, pray that the beauty inside you shows on the outside.
If your core is godly be grateful; if not, beg for mercy which “He delights to give His people.”

Love is a covenant with your heart.
Christians have learned to turn happiness into joy.
Loving someone is never enough until you learn to love God more.
If you have not failed, you have not tried enough.
Pray that you may be beautiful on the inside, regardless of what is happening outside.

Sin will keep you from a rich soul.

The more you think about yourself, the less valuable you become to others.
Unbelief is a personal sin.
Man cannot fix sorrow; only God can do that...but you can comfort, minister too, and share as allowed.
The countenance of a Christian ought to enhance the ability of others to see God.

No Christian is useless unless he chooses to be.

Christians are the sum of their prayers…multiplied by their faith.

Christians are not just Followers; they are “net droppers” fishing for lost men.

Whenever you are separated from God you are in for pain and failure.

Your sin is your way of keeping God at bay.
