A Smoky Mountain HI

Here is a journey I make each day. Time flows on this side of eternity. I have aged as gracefully as reasonable as can be be expected, and yet feel not a day older in my mind. As I begin a life in the Smoky Mountains I hope you will share my journey as well. www.kleincabin.com

Everyone should bring a smile to someone or you’ve failed in life.
Fear and faith are two giants that reside in every life; whichever one you feed, rules.
Prayer and faith can dominate and control panic.
Leaders sit in the shadows as the workers celebrate their victories; but will be up front when it is time to carry the burden of their losses.
A leader filled with arrogance is only followed by fools.

Faith always leads you to greater truths; doubt always leads you to greater deception.
God is in control whether you like it or not, whether you believe or not, or whether you want it to be or not.
The best thing you can take to church with you is a prepared heart.
How you live until you die is up to you; how you live after you die is not.
Too many folks suffer from the fear of Faith and too few rejoice in the possibilities of faith.
God designed you to be more wonderful than you ever thought was possible, and He did your neighbor as well.

For the Christian, life is about doing the undoable, with God’s help.
Jesus raised Himself from the dead and has been doing that for believers ever since.
If you can be “good enough” to get into Heaven; Jesus had no purpose in going to the Cross.
Love is the road, Faith is the journey, and Heaven is the destination.
It is your unwillingness to believe in Jesus that caused your own condemnation.

The more you “grasp” of God, the more you cling to Him.
It is not how often you have been to an alter to pray; it is about have you believed in Jesus enough to change.
While your sins have already condemned you, Jesus has provided for your forgiveness and freedom from sin.
Friday was Satan’s day; Sunday was Jesus’ day.
Friday was Satan’s “Hay Day”; Sunday was Satan’s “May Day.”
Christianity is about believing the unbelievable...and then expecting it.

Jesus changed the meaning of the Cross from shame to mercy.
Jesus opened up the pain of the Cross to provide a peace man had not known since creation.
Jesus shed tears of love in the midst of the pain of death for you and for me.
On the Cross, Jesus, bore  our “lostness” and gave us the choice of adoption in its place.
In one day, the Cross was transferred from the worst death to the greatest hope for eternal life.
Legalism is man’s quest to become god.

If you do nothing you actually accomplish less than nothing.
Few men live their words and even less live God’s words.
People love the truths that protect them; and love less the truths that condemn them.
Right always leads you to great truths; wrong always leads you to great excuses.
God loves those who you the useless, as much as those you consider useful.
There are no accidental truths.
God was, is, and will be, wherever you are or will be.

Anger can be forgiven; but its influence cannot be withdrawn.
Godly Faith "Knows in Whom they believe" 2Tim1:12, regardless if there mind can comprehend it or not.
Blind Faith is disastrous; never let your Faith take you where you mind cannot go. "Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord."
A fascination with evil winds up with a desire for evil. A fascination with sin ends up with temptation for that sin
When you trust in the wrong things you end up with the wrong things; when you trust in the wrong people you end up all wrong.
Some live in a melody that they cannot sing, others fear the song they may have to sing.
Faith at rest, can see more clearly, than doubt can on a mountain top.

You must consider your success to understand your failures.
Faith means you “stick it out” with what you believe.
Forgiving someone frees your soul, but not theirs.
In American society, there is some type of “insulting pleasure” in being referred to as a “Christian“.
One cannot be angry at truth; you can only angry at the barer of truth, the meaning of truth, or the effect of truth.

The most frightening thing about truth is that you cannot change it.
Wisdom is the application of knowledge and comprehension into action.
Counseling is  when the counselor steps into to someone’s “line of thinking” and helps them understand the consequences of their conclusions.
Personal wisdom is understanding what God wants to do with you.
Hope is a cure for confusion.

The cost of freedom is greater than the acceptance of slavery; yet is only kept though servitude.
Marriages offers  a unique  form of dependent freedom, that cannot be found elsewhere.
The freedom to love and to be loved is the first reward of freedom itself.
Your freedom has likely cost someone else more than it has cost you.
Freedom must be loved to be maintained.
It you live is a free country thank someone who gave it to you; if you are living with a free heart thank, Jesus, who is the only one who can give you one.

Trust is the vehicle of faith.
Trust needs no eyes.
Trust narrows your options.
Trust engages all lives but few embrace it.
Trust is truth in action.

Think better  and work less.
Planning is the second hardest thing you do, making it happen is the hardest.
Plan your time or your time will plan for you.
Don’t let things happen, make them happen.
Fortitude consists of a steady supply of commitment.

If you are harvesting only loneliness from this life, you are in cutting your hay in the wrong fields.
I told my bride, today, that when you smile at me every bell in the town begins to ring in my heart.
Temptation begins in me when you start to criticize God, and condemn others.
When ambition becomes desire then change is on the way.
God loves the useless as much as He loves the useful.
It is only God’s approval that matters at all, in any way!
It is not the missed opportunities that should trouble you so much; it is the present possibilities slipping away; that should concern you the most.
