A Smoky Mountain HI

Here is a journey I make each day. Time flows on this side of eternity. I have aged as gracefully as reasonable as can be be expected, and yet feel not a day older in my mind. As I begin a life in the Smoky Mountains I hope you will share my journey as well. www.kleincabin.com

Doubt can never drive out doubt; only Faith can eliminate doubt.
May your life not confuse your friends about the power of God!
Every time God has prompted you to be a witness and you didn’t, you have hindered someone’s chance to embrace saving Faith.
You will have far more freedom on the “Straight and Narrow Way” than you will ever have traveling as a slave on the Broad Way.
The world is no friend of hope.

Any church that does not love the sinner is a false church.
Stand your ground, Christian, there is no peace in compromise.

Marriage is the ultimate friendship.
Love, in marriage, is something you share everyday and still relish every moment.
The foundation of a marriage is begun with a wedding and then is built together over a lifetime.
Love, like every moment counts…and it will.
Real love is when something happens to the other person it happens to you as well.
A great marriage is loving each other until both of you are happy…it is that simple and that difficult.
Marriage is when two sides become the same side.
It is often the flaws in your marriage that make your marriage stronger…because growth and change are accomplished best when marinated in love.
Happy marriages are a combination of generous love, generous forgiveness, and generous time, blended together, generously.

Marriage........................:):):)
The world is full of important people but none more important than the one who changeless your life forever because they love you.
Great marriages are when the threads of love willing given to each other are woven carefully together, everyday, into a portrait of their shared happiness.
True love is a lifelong race to out love the other.
Marriage is when you realize what is needed to one is mandatory to the other; whatever brings tears to one brings sadness to the other; whatever bring joy to one is celebrated together.
Love cannot be understood without willingly giving more than you are plan to receive.
The happiest marriage possible is the one I have been having and am now sharing with Carol for the last 51 years as of TODAY.. I love you the mostest, my Carolee…

Cheer up Christian; your doubts will be vanquished under the avalanche of truth.
Failure is not dishonor; dishonor is the refusal to try.
Doing the right thing may be painful for the moment but it will be far less painful in the long run for those you love.
Truth deserves a better salute than loyalty.
Never honor a man over principle.
Every truth develops its own enemies.
Genius without honor is a disgrace.

Politics is the art of looking for what is wrong and, finding it, misdiagnosing it, and then misapplying All potential remedies.
Most “church traditions” are copies of ways they have captured their cognations; few of these provide any remedy for the lost.
A morning kiss brings flavor to your marriage.
Salvation only occurs when one possess the courage of surrender
It is easier to be a bride than a wife; or a groom than a husband.
It is hardest to love, those you have judged.
“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” but love resides the heart of the giver.
The bad news is that Salvation is costly; but the good new is it has already been paid for!
Are you a member of “Prayers without Boarders?”

Courage is what brave men do with their fears.
Courage for the wrong principals is called fanaticism.
Often people are more courageous against darkness than they are for the light.
Courage is not for one’s safety but to be put against life’s risks.

Knowing what not to fear is the purest bravery.
The loyalty of a Christian is not determined in church but is measured  by his  life.
Courage is for those who are first afraid but do what must be done anyway.
Brave men cannot and will not die cowards.

Faith takes far more courage than revenge.
It takes more courage not to take the credit, than to fight the battle.
Courage will make you a majority.
Courage without conscience is a disaster in the making.
Physical courage abounds while moral courage cower behind..
It is easier to be brave from a safe distance.
The substance of courage is an undying love for some one for some thing.
Courage is when we stand for what we believe in; it is also what we use to sit down and listen to the other side of a story.
The fear in your enemy is your best encouragement
Anger increases your courage but not your good sense.
Faith is the candle power of a Christian's light.
Only Faith can change one blessing into another.
After you pray, do something!
Love is a tenderizing agent for even the toughest of soul.
Did you know that politicians tend to be the biggest "job creators" for lawyers...Oh, did I fail to mention that most politicians are lawyers?

Grudges are your anchors for your own despair.
Jesus frees; Satan condemns.
Life is best when you recognize that forgiving someone is more important than their apology.
Satan has no plan for your redemption; only for your imprisonment.
Changing “could be” into “will be” is all about perseverance.
Insecurity is the breeding place of doubt and can only be eliminated by Faith.

Thursday, May 22, 2014

What others think about you is important; but what God thinks about you is “priceless”!
Loyalty is a visual form of love.
Faith gives you strength to pursue your dreams.
Neither success or failure is final; only truth is.
Endurance is one of the keys to happiness.
Stress is when you feel your own hands gripping your throat.

Faith is knowing what you believe will come true.

Rejoicing is not always easy; be it is always right.
Loving God means, “If you love Me you will keep my commandments.” John 14:15
Focusing on the struggle, keeps your eyes off the blessing.
Your giving is not as important to others, as it is to you
Advice is only valuable if it is the truth.
Life is best when you recognize that, forgiving someone is more important to you, than their apology
.

It is never too late to turn around.
It is never too late to start doing right.
If it is too late you cannot read this.

EVEN AT DEATH WE DO NOT PART

“Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying my counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure. Yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it.” Isaiah 46:10,11b (AKJV)

God is here for us and to be with us until we pass on, from here to there. Being a Christian counselor for 50+ years has given me access into lives who surfer from anxiety. Therefore, it befalls me to remind them that we are to be anxious for nothing…, “for nothing be anxious, but in everything by prayer, and by supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God;” Young's Literal Translation.

Now even as I say this I can hear some of my readers say but you do not understand it is just the way I am made. Not true, it is just something you have agreed to as a reason to so as not to exercise your Faith.

Yes, some folks are more sensitive and more susceptible to anxiety. In fact, all of us tend to be anxious about something. It could be marriage, having children, finances, retirement, the opinion of others, and the like, are all are real human concerns. The difference between concern and anxiety what you do with this temptation. The Bible instruction is to choose to leave whatever is troubling to us in the “Capable Hands of God“.

Jesus said,
Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?” Matthew 6:25

KJV …
Jesus taught us not to worry,...worry is silent anxiety.
"Look at the birds of the air, that they do not sow, nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not worth much more than they? And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? And why are you worried about clothing? Observe how the lilies of the field grow; they do not toil nor do they spin,”…Matthew 6:25-18 KJV.

Teach them to do everything I have commanded you. "And remember that I am always with you until the end of time.” Matthew 28:20 GOD'S WORD® Translation

Now if your fears fall outside of Jesus’ admonition to the multitudes, then, you can, and should be, anxious.

So worry is a “Faith Killer” and a robber of the quality of your Christian life and a thief of the same for those about you. “Fear not for I am with you even until the end of the age,” Matthew 28:20 KJV is a far better banner to wear over your life than anxiety. God is with you until death do you part, and death is not a parting for the believer; it is just when you are united face to face.

Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into his grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Romans 5:1-2 (NIV)

Prepare yourself to help those who have failed…and pray someone has prepared themselves to help you when you fail.
The moment you read this, your future has begun and God is ready to guide you to it, and through it.
Avoid making people angry with you; but allow them to be angry at Jesus in you.
Christian, God will either lead you or drag you; your choice…just ask Jonah.
When you become a Christian you transfer from choosing your own direction, to following His, after direction.

“Shining for Jesus,” may be fueled by the burning of some of the “stuff”  in your life.
If you are constantly speaking His praises; you will see some frowns.
How is the “feeding of your enemies” going in your life?
Change is not just an individual choice; it must be taught and incorporated into the next generation to be effective.
True “faith” is not circumstantially driven.

Sunday, May 18, 2014

Bitterness is fermented anger.
Receiving is a result of giving; so if you are not getting enough, check your giving.
Faith means the answer to your prayers is on the way; fear means it is in limbo.
The more aware you become of the “Presence of God” around you, the less you want to hang on to anything else.
There is no “cheap salvation” available, anywhere at all.
Fear is the beginning of anger.

Saturday, May 17, 2014

There is coming a time when there will be no rebellion against God, either in you, or anyone else.
Christians have found the “One worth seeking” that they were unwilling to see before.
Wealth is not what you have; it is using what you have, for the good of others.
The poverty of your soul can never be remedied with money.
Having a “cloudy soul” or living with a “great cloud of witnesses” is your choice.
In order to have more than I have now, I need to learn to give more than I have given.

Friday, May 16, 2014

Christian, when you are battling temptation, the fight is not over until you feel the dirt falling on your grave; or until you feel the wind bracing you from the rapture.
The difference between being in church and being a Christian is like being a neighbor or being family.
For the Christian, the Cross is a priority, not just an incident.
Christians are those folks who have the best seat in the house to see “Jesus Come Again.”
When “we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ,” 2 Cor. 10:5:  we should be kept busy enough.

Wednesday, May 14, 2014

Life may not give you a “second chance” so learn to be more careful with your first one.

A tougher life, should make you tougher...The tougher your life, the more compassion, you should gain.

Leadership in a vacuum will never match the leadership given in the open air.

You can only successfully delegate to those who are free to innovate,.

Christian, if you goal in life is happiness instead of holiness you’re still a babe in Christ.

Your selfishness will always limit your faith.

Selfishness may bring you success but never prosperity.

Christians, scratch can’t from your vocabulary and add ”I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” to it.

Do the little things you must do in life, but do them with great love.

Marriage is best when you meet someone who loves you more than you expected they could and you delight in returning the favor.
The swagger of a Christian is humility.

Today is yours to be a blessing, or yours to be a missed blessing.

No Christian is unable to take responsibility but many are unwilling.
Every scientific theory should begin with, “At our present level of ignorance we assume that the next level of ignorance should be.........”

Marriage is “a work in progress” or no progress will be made.

If Faith is the crown jewel of life; however, Love is still the King.
The love for the world and the love for Christ are separated completely, by their direction.
Those who are opposite in Faith are attracted by distraction.
Blessed is he who can see His Light in their afflictions.
By far, pride is the greatest stumbling block, to one’s redemption.
Love is the nurse while God heals.

Tuesday, May 13, 2014

You can fail without fear but only fear can keep you a failure.
When you learn to give more than you have, you are giving from the Father’s Treasury.
Doubt is pre-despair.
When you become ungrateful; you become unmerciful as well.
When you escape your morning prayers; you will be imprisoned by the rest of the day.

Sunday, May 11, 2014

Christians are "cross minded" not just cross.
Much of what I thought was discipline was really direction.
You have been warned..."If Heaven is for real"...so is the other place.
“World peace” begins with “inner peace“.
Remember, Christian, you are the Lord’s temple …so clean it up and keep it clean.
A mothers love is not measurable by how much she has; but is always remembered by how much she gives.
Every Christian realizes that they are unworthily blessed.
I would rather be blessed than lucky.
Love without patience is an oxymoron.
Yes, it is possible to live with peace in your soul, even when war rages around you.
Take a moment and thank your parents and friends for all they have done for you and then take a lifetime thanking God for your salvation.
Pray from your heart, until your head catches up.
Judge others like you were on trial.
Confusion tends to settle into doubt.

Mother’s Day is a reminder of our dependence on others!
Everyone had a mother, except Eve.
The tears of a mother are stronger the than powers of habit.
Whatever you do effects your mother more anyone else.
You can thank your mother for your success and yourself for your failures.

Moms are the ones who love us though our problems and into our possibilities.

Saturday, May 10, 2014

Love and thankfulness are uniquely different; yet one cannot exist without the other.
Your enemies may wound your body; but only your bitterness can wound your heart.
It is “Vertigo of Faith,” that causes you to lose your sense of direction.
Good news; you have been “pre-approved,” by God, for salvation.
In order to hear the answers to your prayers; you must first pray, and then listen.

Friday, May 09, 2014

Do you want to learn the secret of loving your mate forever?…do it!
When I must use the computer in the morning, before coffee…I need a “key stroke silencer.”
By nature, “cementing relationships” is heavy work.
What I see in my heart often is a cause for concern; what I see in the heart of God is inspiring.
He who steals hope, robs the soul.

Wednesday, May 07, 2014

The swagger of a Christian is humility.
Today is yours to be a blessing, or yours to be a  missed blessing.
No Christian is unable to take responsibility but many are unwilling.
Every scientific theory should begin with, “At our present level of ignorance we assume that the next level of ignorance should be.........”
Marriage is “a work in progress” or no progress will be made.

Tuesday, May 06, 2014

If your goal is a “Faith goal”; it is a safe goal.
Love makes room for the pains of others.
Being hopelessly in love and  loving the hapless contains the vast extremes of love.
Sin may taste good for the moment but it will soul your soul in time.
Sin is man’s way of questioning God.
It is  with the same bravery that you stand and fight that you use to sit-down and listen.

Life is less about how many years you are here on earth; and by more about what earthly good you were, while you were here.
Christian, God is your life's manager; you are only a salesman.
The faith of an atheist is that God is not there…time will tell.
When to cross a bridge or when to burn a bridge, so you or others will not be tempted to cross it again, are two separate, distinct issues.
We are more willing to do great things for God, with His help, than we are to do little things with His blessing.

You will never drown while standing on Faith.
If you have never failed you will never understand how to succeed.
Procrastination is the process of putting your worst foot forward.
The unacceptable must be changed…if you can’t change it yourself, start the process so someone else can.
What you overcome will be remembered more than what you failed at during your struggle.
It is from our failures we often can learn the most; but we tend not to.
When it comes to friends, we often run after the looser, desperately trying to make them a winner; while avoiding the winner God has already sent our way.

BENEVOLENCE:
If you give for the honor of it…you already have your reward. No more will be forthcoming.
Whatever you give “by Faith” is automatically, multiplied, exponentially.
Always be more thankful that you can give; than proud that you have given.
Giving does not make you better; giving out of love will.
You will be more honored, in Heaven, for what you sent before you; than by what you left behind.
Does you giving match you living?

ARE YOU SIGNIFICANT ENOUGH?

“I knew you before I formed you in your mother’s womb. Before you were born I set you apart and appointed you as my prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5

Jeremiah was destine from the womb and so are you. Jeremiah is not one bit more important to God than you are. From the moment you were born you’ve been a treasure to Him. You are a special creation of the Maker of Heaven and Earth.

You were made personally by God, for Himself and for His purposes.
Imagine, then, the value of something made with love and care by God Himself. The majestic and sovereign God of all creation is your creator. Just like Jeremiah you were formed by God Himself and known to him. Nothing will ever bring greater value to your life than this. Therefore, whatever you think about yourself that differs from this fact is wrong.

God has made you on purpose for a purpose.
Just as Jeremiah was “set apart” and “appointed” by God to be a prophet, God made you for a purpose that is important to Him. A purpose is important not because of what it is but because of who assigns it. You also have been set aside for a specific purpose, to be the light of God, set upon a hilltop…wherever that hilltop may be.

You may say, “But I do small things in quiet places; not big things in big places. No one really cares or knows about what I do. If, in the eyes of the world, you feel small, take heart. Consider the all seeing Eyes of a Loving Heavenly Father are on you continually.
“Indeed, the LORD watches those who fear him; those who trust in his gracious love.” Palms 33:18 International Standard Version

You are important to Him. But as you accept that you are precious in His sight, take no glory in it because the honors of the world fade into nothingness on that Final Day. However, your purpose appointed by God endures—forever!

Committed faithfulness is your key to a life of significance.
Since God has made you for a purpose, your key to significance is faithfulness. Do what He has set you apart to do without regard to anything else. Do not allow yourself to be sidetracked into whatever the world offers you in exchange; for it will be useless and valueless in the final purpose for your life.

If you are faithful to God; your life will be filled with His Grace and Glory. Not only that, but you will also be filled with joy and happiness because the greatest joy comes from serving Him. (Happiness is a by-product of being in and doing God’s will for your life.)

If you are a non-believer you are significant enough for the Son of God to die for your sins no matter how horrid they might be or have been.

If you are a Christian it is impossible for you to be insignificant.
So, Glory in the Cross and walk this world full of His love. Your significance is in His, eyes, not the world’s, other’s or even your own.

Finally, you are significant enough if you have Jesus as your Lord; you will always be significant as you can possibly be. If you don’t know Jesus as your Savior you can never be significant regardless of how much you have, what your have do, have done, or who thinks you are significant…You can’t be significant in anyway, in or to, the world that will come.

Once you belong to Jesus, you can never be more valued or more significant.

Your Faith will either strengthen your life or weaken it.
Satan celebrates your lack of prayer, because he suffers when you do.
Truth can hurt you either by running from it or running into it.
In life you either overcome or become overcomed.
Life will teach your that “everything happens for a reason”; just not for your reasons.
Whatever you do not understand about your situation, God does.
Evil never looses sleep over your good intentions; only over your good deeds
Silent Christians are more self-serving, than any sort of a blessing.
No one marries to be an occasional wife or husband but it will take work and commitment from the both of you for it not to happen.

True wealth is invested in people not things.
Learn to live a “Kingdom first life”.
When asked if you have done your best in life, answer "I hope not" or "not yet!”
Feasting on your wealth is the best way to starve, the life out of living.
The church must  survive on the 10%, of  the 10% who tithe.
May your ambition for  God always exceed your ambition for wealth!
It is easier for those who have little, to believe much; than it is for those who have much, to believe a little.

Death is only permanent for the unprepared.
Being sincere does not mean you are right.
Faith is planting today, what you plan on harvesting tomorrow.
Poverty is first recognized by your soul...then by your body.
Just because other agree with you does not mean you are right.
Wisdom is only as good as its application.
Sleep in.... the first worm is breakfast and the second mouse gets the cheese.
God is never surprised by what surprises you.
God is faithful even while you are floundering.
Nothing you have not done in this life without love, will be worth remembering in the next one.
What random choice of nature could ever build an eye?
A silver tongue may comfort, but good deeds are golden.
Put your stress wounds in your Bible and squeeze as much as you like.
The fear of failure is the beginning of failure.
Revival is only for those who already have life.
Your mind is the container for your history; your soul keeps the quality of your life.
Home is wherever your prayers reside.
It is better to get a raw deal than to give one.
Just because others agree with you does not mean you are right.

Truth is always busy making waves in the lake of deceit.
Sins are lessons we should never have to learn again.
The best "deal of a lifetime" is the one you give a needy neighbor.
In order to live happily ever after...you must be headed to the only place that it is possible.
"I love the sinner, but hate the sin", too often means I hate the sin and the sinner.
You can never enjoy being forgiven, until you forgive.
What you write on the everyday pages of your life is what will be read on Judgment day.
Sincerity does not make you right.
" Thank God in the storm, He knows when you need the rain."
If you are feeling miserable; helping others will take the stress out...and bring joy back in.
Truthfulness is not an option, it is the foundation of life.
If you learn "to give thanks in all things"; every part of everyday becomes more sacred than secular
The best meditation is allowing God to think for you...and then with you...and then through you.
You will find that high dollar items, tend to bring little value to life.
Only tell others the good truths you know about another.
Forgiving takes a combination of strength, faith, and courage.
A Christian’s life should be a window to show God; not a mirror to reflect themselves.
Money is harder to give than it is  to earn.
The world is full of nice people. If you can’t find one, be one.
Heart failure is one thing; a failure to have a heart is quite another.
True Worship is more about how you live, more than how you celebrate it.

Generosity is the sauce of God’s Grace.
It is never enough, to do less than enough, when you have more than enough.
You fail because you did not try; not because you did not succeed.
I have seen the good and felt the bad but I learned the most from the thrill of Grace.
Wrong is hatred, giving what is earned, Grace is peace, while I pay my debt.
Be more thankful you can give, than proud that you did.
Earn by hard work but give by Faith.
