A Smoky Mountain HI

Here is a journey I make each day. Time flows on this side of eternity. I have aged as gracefully as reasonable as can be be expected, and yet feel not a day older in my mind. As I begin a life in the Smoky Mountains I hope you will share my journey as well. www.kleincabin.com

The more focused your love, the more pure it will become.
Debt is a burden of epic per portion.
Debt breaks more marriages than immorality.
A small debt is the beginning of financial failure.
Forgiveness comes with a price but bitterness stays at a cost.

Chasing after God is never as gratifying as following after Him and following after God is never as satisfying as walking with Him.
Shallow love become callused; deep love becomes fertile.
You can make a difference in this world when God is on you, in you, and free to work through you.
Most marriages, today, are drive fueled with circumstantial love. Not by committed love.
Trusting in the future is an act of hope; trusting in God is an exercise of Faith.
Here may be no tomorrows, in your life scrip, so live today like there are no tomorrows.
The more you sow the more you reap…so sow today like crazy!!!

Grace is like finding a perfect diamond on sale for faith.

Pray for "Saturday Faith" the kind of Faith you need between your salvation and your arrival at Jesus feet in Heaven.
Judge less, gossip less, and talks less; while loving more, giving more, and listening more, and your influence will mean more.
It is always good to be better than you were.
To God, my "big deal"; is a piece of cake.
Whatever I do, proclaims my purpose.
Fear, opens wide the door to unhappiness.

It seems like the folks with the most problems are determined to give you their "best" advice.
Most folks are willing give “flexible advice,” good for you but not for them.
Many people justify their judgments of others while condemning others’ judgment of them.
It is the ill-advised who often tend to give the must unsolicited advice.
Whatever advice you give others, you should have already taken.
Your ignorance becomes most obvious, when you are giving someone else advice.

I cannot become what I should be; until what I am, is a change, from what I was.
“God is our refuge.” Primarily, because there is no other.

Compassion should your best mistake.
True understanding comes from carrying someone in your heart.

If you are to comprehend compassion; you will be first recognize your need for it.
Prayer is wireless; but it is never powerless.
Only demand of others what you willing to give yourself.
You can negotiate ideas but not principle...principles only change when God shows you that they were wrong.
Principles given by man, instead of by God, are often either misinterpret, misunderstood, or flat outright wrong.

The time that has passed will never appear again.
You either spend time or it is taken from you.
Moments represent mini-seconds of possibilities.
Time tends to intervene in the plans of man.
Fear keeps love at bay more than rejection ever could.

The Christian’s soul lives in habitual bountifulness.
The worth of your value is felt by most by those whom you love undeservingly.
The love of a mate is singularly precious in the times of trial.
The longer you love someone the more important they become to you.
Your capacity to love only increases though its application.

Few will “train for the race of a spiritual life” after being invaded by prosperity.
The soul without hope is either filled with vengeance or despair.
Happiness flees a selfish soul.
The incomparable Love of God washes over the repentant heart.
The Christian church would be far more blessed if it measured less people, and loved more people.

Your Faith is rarely strengthened while you are profiting.
Abundant Hope grows best when incubated with love.
More than enough; scarcely satisfies.
Flowers bloom best in broken soil.
Forgiving someone or being forgiven, brings an exquisitely uncommon feeling of peace to your soul.

The love for the wrong things will lead you to the hatred of the right things.
For the married, their love brings a cherished comfort, unduplicated in any other way.
The church spends too much time judging their own instead of ministering to the lost.
Forgiveness is never a crime.
Jesus will pardon the sinner but never the sin.

Bitterness will cause far more difficulties for you and the ones you love or could love, than the forgiving someone ever could.
It will be harder to quit if you keep in mind why you started in the first place.
Often my most important prayers are the ones I feel but cannot say.
Often my most meaningful answers to my prayers are the ones I know but cannot hear.
Live like you pray.
Prayers are you purpose; so let your “God Light” shine in the midst of your purpose.
Without prayer you are definitely without.

The burden you are carrying alone was never meant to be carried that way.
Christians tend to be miserably inept at ministering to their own.
Pride is distorted loyalty.
It is not how long someone was in your life, that will matter; it will be what of value they left behind.
While the lose of love opens the door to loneliness; however, one need not enter therein.

Temptation is not obliterated at salvation; as sins attacks and attracts both the believer and the sinner.
Your Christian walk is at most risk when you are traveling on Easy Street.
If you think your Christian journey will cost you one penny less than everything you have, you will be  sadly mistaken.
May the words from your lips be confirmed by the deeds of your life!
It is the pride in a sinner’s heart that keeps him from the bravery of surrender.

There can still be trouble in your life, even when all is “well with your soul.”
Only a Christian has discovered the freedom of a “captured heart.”
The road to success is full of barriers, fences, and exits… go over, go around, or go through them all, and avoid the exits altogether.
Never let triumph go to your head, nor failure go to your heart.
Happiness is God given; not made from a collection of pleasant circumstances.

Wednesday, June 04, 2014

Every time you fall spiritually, your neighbor feels the pain.
Every time you forgive someone, Satan feels the pain.
Whenever you give into the temptation of “I have to have more,” you give up whatever satisfaction you were enjoying.
Constant temptations vs. consistent refusal are the everyday  battles of life.
It is easier to convince a head there is no God, than it is a heart.

Basic Sin 101

“But God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

Growing up in a Christian home, I naively believed sin was something only non-Christian’s needed to really worry about. What I didn’t understand at the time was that sin is much more than outright rebellion against God. Sin permeates just about every aspect of our culture and is as much a part of us as our personality. It’s inescapable this side of heaven. It is when I realize how bad my sin was that I understood how good God is.

The harsh personal reality of sin makes what Jesus did on the cross so much more powerful: God didn’t just give us a way to avoid some distant sin; He stepped down into the depths of our sin and brokenness and loved us despite it all we were He saw who we could become. While the Cross was terribly difficult for Jesus; it was the separation for God the Father that troubled Jesus even more. "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done." Luke 22:42 Jesus felt the separation from the Father that all humans feel or have felt before their Salvation.

It was this realization that helped me grow beyond my naive understanding of grace and realize that I’m just as guilty as anyone else; my sins put Jesus on the cross! Just because I was born into a Christian home and didn’t have as a dramatic “born again” experience, doesn’t mean I was born free of sin’s curse. Just for the record my “born again experience” was one I have never forgotten even if less dramatic than other’s appear to have been…it was “preciously mine”.

The enemy wants us to minimize sin so we let our guard down and fail to see our need for a Savior. So let’s look deeply at our sin, examine it in all its brutal ugliness, search for the root causes, and repent. Only then will we truly be able to understand Grace and forgiveness and see how wonderful it is that Christ would choose to love us sinners. Being forgiven is only the beginning, it is with this personal Salvation that I began to realize the joy of being blessed by, guarded by, and provided for, through the unfathomable and the deeply rich, Love of God, Himself.

The LORD is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart ... God shall have the praise of it: thus must we express our gratitude. Psalm 28:7

Jesus said.” Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen“. King James 2000 Bible

There is no jail for the sinner; theirs is either Salvation or Hell.
Sin against man and you go to jail; sin against the President and it is life in prison; Sin against God and it is Hell with the lights out forever.
Whatever you love more than God will eternally separate you from Him further and further each day.
It is the extra ordinary love of God that He demands of every Christian; because He provides it free to each of them with abundance.
You will never find peace through bitterness.
Educating the ignorant is possible; educating stupidity is unlikely.

The world is God’s; only sin temporarily separates the two.
The world that God created was without fault. Fault came into this world though a “moral decision” that caused the very first failure in the world.
No one is with out hope until they choose to reside in hopelessness.  (John 3:16)
In order to become a “friend of God” you must become an enemy of evil.
God’s mercy to you stops at the grave and ends on Judgment Day.

A President can pardon you but only God can give you a new heart.
