A Smoky Mountain HI

Here is a journey I make each day. Time flows on this side of eternity. I have aged as gracefully as reasonable as can be be expected, and yet feel not a day older in my mind. As I begin a life in the Smoky Mountains I hope you will share my journey as well. www.kleincabin.com

Some church folks complain about how many children missionaries have, as if God somehow did not know how many children they were going to have, because they have to support them all….(No. you get to support them it is a privilege…They went in your place.)
The day is rapidly where it is not bad parents that will be deprived of their children, but all parent who do not accept the government’s view of parenting.
Marriage was designed to glorify God while giving happiness to a couple they could find no other way.
Doing less that you ought to is a form of failure.
It seems that God tends to call busy people to do what the unbusy folks won’t do.
It seems that God tends to call busy people to do what the "unbusy" folks won’t do. Maybe church folks ought get busy so the church could get more done.

The longer you consider a temptation, the less likely you are to successfully resist it.
Temptation is not sin but considering it unlocks the possibility.
Resisting temptation is the way you build "spiritual" muscle.
Temptation is the process of taking your eyes off Jesus.
Are you “tweeting” more and praying less or are you “tweeting” less and praying more?

Correction is the hardest part of change.
When I am tempted, everyone I love is in danger.
One of the best ways to "resist temptation" is to stay away from where you know it is.
If you want to know what the truth is, the first thing you should do is to stop trying to discard the truths you know and don’t like. .
It is easier to resist the temptation to do right, than the temptation to do wrong.

Generosity is not giving everything you have away; it is giving what you could when you should.
A generous man has a happy heart.
Giving you treasure to someone you shouldn’t is not generosity it is just wasteful.
Generosity is doing or giving what God asked, to whom He asked, when He asked.
Giving someone a raise is not generosity it is an obligation or they earned it; doing something you did not have to, in order to making someone’s life better, that is generosity.

Changing the outside without changing the inside is camouflage, not change.
Until you have walked a mile carrying someone's emotional baggage you cannot understand it and until it is given to God no one can lose it.
A good conversation is more than one talking and one listening. Too often it is the one talking who thinks they are having a conversation.
There is not victory without truth. There is no defeat if you live the truth. Truth has no lasting enemies, in the end they will not matter.

The price of joy is beyond the means of man, and can be grasp only by one’s heart.
Man cannot live life to the fullest without joy and joy only comes for the Lord.
It is impossible to hold joy in you hand it can only be retained in a loving heart.
Joy must be given; it cannot manufacture itself, nor can the hand of man accomplish it in any lasting way.
What men call joy is but a momentary breath of wind not knowing its source; we see it in others but cannot make it our own.
All joy is a result of obedience to Truth, not to the whims of man.

Good thoughts will never replace good deeds.
In the end, you will regret what you did not change, that you could have or should have changed, more than the mistakes you made in life.
Every Christian, by definition, lives in and with "Assisted living"
To neglect the poor is to injure yourself.
Christianity is loaded with benefits, surrounded by obligations, and saturated with love.

Doubt leads to depression; hope leads to faith.
Christianity is a deliberate choice not a inherited expectation.
Praise is the beginning of hope.
Living is your goal; deth is the finish line.
Being too "sharp", means you are out of tune...being too "flat" means you are out of touch.
