A Smoky Mountain HI

Here is a journey I make each day. Time flows on this side of eternity. I have aged as gracefully as reasonable as can be be expected, and yet feel not a day older in my mind. As I begin a life in the Smoky Mountains I hope you will share my journey as well. www.kleincabin.com

Often it is easy to discern between right and wrong; the trick is to be able to see the different between almost right and almost wrong.
A Christian’s life should be a window to show God; not a mirror to reflect themselves.
Money is harder to give than to earn.
Fellowship is best when we are on the right side of the same ship.
Grace begins well before you recognize that God is to picking up the heavy end of the load.
I have seen the wicked and evil thrive; but now I see grace in it’s stride, while evil is gasping for its breath, God has put my soul at rest.

Everyone should bring a smile along with their Faith.
Fear is a cancer to all possibilities, and Faith is its only cure.
God always provides enough of enough to do enough.
You willingness to give up is the measure of any commitment.
When you only see yourself you are discouraged; when you only see God you are encouraged.
Antecedent-consequential behavior… If you do you will; if you don’t you won’t.  If you have you did, if you haven’t you didn’t.

Pray before you say!

Say as you prayed!
Pray before you do!
Pray while you do!
Pray after you do!
Do as you prayed!
Praise to whom you prayed!
Give credit to the One prayed to!

Earned righteousness is useless.
Your righteousness can never match His righteousness.
The Cross is the strength and the Grace for you to live the difference between what you are and what you should and could be.
Learn more about believing and less about backsliding and your life will be far more meaningful.
The burden you bore before the Cross was heaver than you could have ever carried…Thus came Jesus…the Gift of the Father.
Your salvation in Jesus was far too expensive for you to ignore.
Pray for "Saturday Faith" the kind you need between your salvation and your arrival at Jesus feet in Heaven.

You can never improve your character by ruining another‘s.
Faith is the process of continued believing.
What must be takes precedence over what could be.
Climbing over someone never gets you any higher in God’s eyes.
No matter how perfect you think the one you love might be remember they married you.
Brevity is only good if what you says; says what you want.
An atheist is someone who says there is no God and spends the rest of their life trying to believe it.
For the one who has gone on to Heaven there is no more pain but for those left behind, pain endures.

Tomorrow will never more valuable than today.
If you are still a slave to sin you are unredeemed.
Being free from sin and being sinless are not in any way the same.
A Christian has a “heart need” to love his neighbors.
I travel now "a road less traveled" but is clearly marked by the Blood of Jesus.
There is no bolder statement from God than Easter.

Christian what ever you can do you must do and whatever you must do you can do.

Faith watered by hope, breeds determination and expectations.

Money manages more people that people manage it.

Some folks are addicted to loneliness shutting out other possibilities.

If God does not exist why are you so mad at Him?

The prayer of a Christian is “Lord break my heart before I break yours.”

I could never do enough to earn the blessings I have already gotten.

If you don’t like someone’s opinions; imagine the ones they kept to themselves.

I know that I am better than I was but that doesn’t make me as good as I should be.

Every Christian finds themselves at the top of God’s priority list every day.

I use to have an “inferiority complex” until I realized God’s did make anyone inferior…He just made them different.

People tend to stumble over who they are more than they stumbling over who God is.

A deed done is better than a deed in the waiting room.

It is good to find Grace at the end of life; but better is a lifetime filled with Grace.

It is good to know that only you can limit God’s power in your life but frightening as well.

Most people are too busy denying that their mistakes were their fault.. to learn from them.

Christianity is not easy but it will be worth it!

Every Christian is a recovering atheist.

Atheism is an in-depth look at hopelessness.

Palm Sunday is for the casual believers; Easter is for disciples.

Compassion is for the sinner but not for his sin.

Love the undeserving, the unwilling, the unwanted, and you have done God’s work for you today.

Do something good for those who cannot not benefit you at all and you have made a mark on the walls of time, for eternity.

The safest place to be is in the Hand of God ; it is also the hardest place to escape.

Variety may be the “spice of life” but goals are the vessels that collect the spice.

Never let what other people think about you weigh heaver on you than the truth you represent.

Silliness never cares enough about enough; pettiness cares too much about too little.

You are often most at risk when you think you are safest.

Critics are often looking in the wrong direction, usually looking back instead of forward.

Sometimes the best things I do in a day are the things I left undone.
Living in the moment is the only place you can live!
Happiness, joy and fun and enjoyment all actually come from the Lord …all good thing come from above.
Measuring someone else keeps me from doing what I should be doing.
A prejudice man may not be right but he is convinced.
Forgiving someone is like chelation therapy for the soul.
My garden is a mess two snails has a slugfest there last night.

A committee is the best way to leave a problem unsolved.
More folks stumble over potholes than are stopped by roadblocks.

If you are doing the Will of God you will have troubles; if you are not you will have more troubles.

More progress is stopped by committees than any other obstacle.

Committees are designed to not decide… but are designed to agree to meet again not to decide.

I hear the pitter patter of hope surrounding your walk today…Do you?

Having been given a new heart requires you to live a new life or your new heart may turn out like to old one did.

It appears like the more folks have the less thankful they are for it.

Never bargain to change the truth; it is never for sale at any price, at any time!

Envy means you want what someone else has instead of them having it; insecurity is thinking that having those things will make you happy.

It seem like the more you talk the less you can get done.

A lie never changes the truth.
