A Smoky Mountain HI

Here is a journey I make each day. Time flows on this side of eternity. I have aged as gracefully as reasonable as can be be expected, and yet feel not a day older in my mind. As I begin a life in the Smoky Mountains I hope you will share my journey as well. www.kleincabin.com

It is the years between death and birth that prove your worth.
Be careful what you say; someone may make it into a scroll.
Diligences turns good ideas into good fortune.
Gardens that flourish are not tended by those sitting in the shade.
It is practice that makes the piano fluent and a speech like the “Sound of Music“.
Inspirations are for the waiting; success comes first to those hard at work.
In order to be a painted one must work; in order to be an artist one must live.
Whatever I hope to do, will require diligence.
Effort is active diligence.
Never begin what can only end in tragedy for you or a friend.

Trust is the basis of every human relationship, faith the foundation, hope the glue, love the power, and happiness the music.
Heaven contains, what earth can never have, because of the evil it tolerates.

Faith focuses on what hope reaches to embrace.
While I cannot help everyone, I can help the ones I can.
Faith makes the impossible only difficult.
Leadership is about finding a way, to point people in the right direction, and hungering them to get there.

A hunger for God is satisfying in and of itself.
The more you love God the more balanced you become not more radical.
Becoming more godly is spiritual; becoming more radical is worldly.
Loving God with all of your heart makes you want to love others with all your heart…which is true Christian radicalism.
Radicalism is not doing something stupid for God; but it is doing something practical to win the lost.
Wearing different clothes, speaking different languages, abiding by special man-made rules is folly; but loving the lost, doing good those who despitefully use you, now that is radical.

The best way to get a good nights sleep is to leave your troubles on the altar before you try.
Do you pray to worship or pray just to receive?
Turtle shell Christians are: hard on the outside, slow to change, pretty snappy they don’t get their way, and love to muddy the waters.
Modern day Holiness, has become situational, by gender, and subject to leadership’s opinions, while leaving little room for God.

When is the last time you gave a “soul hug” to a needy brethren.
A Godly man, rages where God rages, and loves where God loves.

My “good fortune” comes not from wealth, power or money, but from the people who love me, with hope in their eyes.
It was said “He was so busy doing good that he forgot who to hate.”
Father: help me to know what is right, do what is right, and be what is right today!
Difficulties doe not require despair.
Some people believe, so strongly in what is wrong, that they cannot see what is right.
None of my ”cleverness”, nor anything I could ever do, contributes to my happiness, like knowing that God desperately loves me.

Stupidity and ignorance are related: stupidity can keep you from learning, and ignorance can make you look stupid.
The Second Amendment makes all of the other amendment possible.
Society tends to control itself into paralysis.
The first ingredient in encouragement is courage; the second is compassion.
It is easier to forgive than to accept forgiveness.
Passion occurs when an idea gets into your heart.

Compassion is when someone else’s need gets into your heart.
A gambling addiction is an outbreak of greed, driven by dissatisfaction of the soul, treated with love, compassion, and self-discipline.

Without truth, wisdom can not exist.
Wisdom is the application of the truth, contained in knowledge.
Life is a delicate balance between a playground and a prayer ground.
Politicians teach us how foolish wisdom can become.
Wisdom is doing the best with what you have, know, and think.
Having Faith is the beginning of wisdom; doubt is the beginning of wisdom’s funeral arrangements.
Wisdom is distilling information into simplified facts, and then understanding what to do with them.

Just walking away from a situation is often, the hardest, best thing to do.
Strong fences are better than mended fences.
When it comes to temptation, just a tiny weakness can cause a lot of pain.
A wise man avoids situations where might have to walk away, but if he can’t; truth becomes his final stronghold.
The best encouragement occurs when a foundation of love has been prepared.
Principles leave a path through the wilderness.
Live better than your testimony.
Time manages the lazy.

The Seven greatest discoveries in life.

Life’s greatest discovery is when I realize that God actually does loves me, is willing to forgive me, and wants me as part of His family!

The second greatest discovery is when I realize that I really did love someone, other than myself, enough to put their happiness before my happiness.

The third greatest discovery is that moment when I understood, that another human being loves me more than I could ever deserve.

The fourth greatest discovery is that the reason is can be difficult for others to love me...is me.

The fifth greatest discovery is that I am responsibility for my happiness, while others can contribute to my happiness; it is still always my choice.

The sixth greatest discovery is how others, who love me, are affected by my choices; be they good or bad.

The seventh greatest discovery is that that forgiveness is not a nicety but a necessity.

Too many religions are sowing the souls around them with weed seed.
Your love for God, must always exceed your desire to succeed, in all other areas of your life.
There are too many “Turtle Shell Churches’ hard on the outside and hard to get inside.
The job of every Christian’s life is to create a hunger for Jesus that only Jesus can satisfy.
Holiness is the continuous saturating of your life, in the Love of God.
Never settle for wealth, when you can have value.
Religion, is “a hiding place “ only the weakest Christians access.

For Holiness to work, you have to work at it.
Holiness is not just a momentary experience; but a lifetime journey with Jesus…Paul died daily to remain Holy.
Holiness is designed to teach you where you are not Holy; and then to commit, what you have been taught, to God.
Holiness changes your life, so you can change other lives.
Holiness is a gift of God, through you, by the power of Jesus, to this world.
Holiness gives more than it absorbs.
Honor comes to folks who have done more than expected for the unsuspecting.

The more you pray the easier it is to have Faith.
Prayer fuels your desire to live and act by Faith.

Whatever you cannot pray about; you should not be about.
Prayer without Faith is forgery.

The greater your need; the more fervent your prayers.
When we pray in Faith, we should be more thankful, than amazed that God answers.
Even when the early church prayed in faith for Peter’s release, but they were not prepared for him to be knocking at the front door...by faith they should have been
!

Fervently love the things that God loves and He will bless your life with unusual compassion.
God’s tolerance for your weakness exceeds your ability to fail, but He keeps strengthening your weaknesses as you are willing.
Blessed is he that is more concerned with the deed than the credit.
There are no hereditary Christians.

There will be no prejudice in Heaven, not for race, gender, financial, educational, or any other prejudice of any kind… so get use to the idea now!
A few of the strengths of love are in its pliability, share-ability and its durability.

Sunday, April 14, 2013

Holiness is what Holiness does; not what holiness says it will do.
Holiness is the beginning of what will never end.
Holiness is what God does for you; not what you do for God.
Holiness is not a set of rules you conform to; but a God given determination of your heart, that you follow, with a deep, insatiable, hunger.
Holiness is not super-natural; it God-natural.
“Without Holiness no man will see God”; so it will take Holiness to see what God wants you to do here on earth.

Looking back, takes you back, so be sure you want to go back, before you look back.
Love contains all you want our of life and hate all you wish to avoid.
Service is a combination of active knowledge, active wisdom, and active compassion.
When you are unwilling to forgive, hatred blossoms into revenge, which activates bitterness, that results in loneliness.
Love is not measurable mathematically, but becomes overwhelmingly saturated as it is applied.
Grace give you the power to do what you can’t, when you wouldn’t.

Those who are “poor in patience’ make difficult friends.
The difference between patience and suppression is the latter explodes in time, while the former leads to understanding.
Be patient with unlearned diligent, and intolerant of the learned lazy.
There is no fairness in injustice regardless of the verdict.

Never cut down a tree before you have seen it in bloom…nor a life either!
Patience is a natural stress reducer.

Thursday, April 11, 2013

Stupidity is not reserved for stupid people.
The strength of your Faith, can only be measured by its service when it is under a load.
Hope is contentious to despair.
Christians must be prepared for a onslaught of joy, to overtake them at any moment.
Moments with a loved one, become mini-memories.

Only the Hand of God, can allow you to do more than you can, for more than you can, more often than your could.
May your works aggressively chase your Faith!

Jealousy is a trust issue; either not earned or not given.
Truth is usually not unknown but it is often fervently ignored.
Father may a praise of you be on my lips at the least moment of my life.
Christian, God will penetrate the whatever every is surrounding your life; just be faithful.
At some moment in the journey of the atheist, the abundance of God will anger them.
Life without a Shepherd is totally dangerous.
Christians, with Jesus to guide us, and with God’s mercy, forever, behinds us; we are well provided for on our earthly journey .
Want is the enemy of satisfaction.
It is not what I lack that bothers me, as much as, what I have and don’t use.

If you are living your life without, the Shepherd, you will never find your way.
Everyone benefit form the Grace of God but few realize it.
Mercy is pursing your heart, to help you recognize the Grace of God.
Mercy is forgiveness in action.
God contains unlimited goodness to those who believe.
Mercy is never a license to sin…never!
Want, is the enemy of satsfaction.

Laughter is a gift to sadness.
Heartache is a medical term for a sore soul.
Generosity looks for an opportunity to share.
Prayer is the antacid for a sour soul.
The soul feels what the seven senses cannot.
It is only the heart of man that reaches to the heart of the problem.
Without love bitterness will rule the heart.

Gratitude is knowing who to thank regardless of who He sends to help you.
Trying to satisfy greed,by getting things, is like trying to stop hunger by looking at the menu.

Monday, April 08, 2013

Faith is pre-trust and trust is most difficult for man.
Trust is my credit card in life, that I extent to fellow travelers.
Faith is a human distinctive, we use it in love, marriage , family, business, friendship, and safety.
Faith is what we have; trust is what we give.
It is the accuracy of our Faith, that determines our success in life.

Faith without works is dead, and works without Faith is as filthy rags, the Bible says.

Only God can give you what cannot be taken away.
Envy wants to have the same things that you have; greed wants what you have so you can’t or won’t have it.
When your life is enveloped in faith, you are safe; when your life is enveloped in hate. no one around you is safe.
Your bargain is someone else’s loss.
Believing yourself incapable, debilitates far more people than any incapacity ever could.
The more you hate; the less you can love.

Saturday, April 06, 2013

Your life, is the only trophy you can take with you to “show and tell” in Heaven.
You cannot not be “worth-less” without the potential to being “worth-more”.
Cheating is one way of robbing yourself.

Love is not blind, it is unreasonably compassionate.
Life can either be filled with “what if’s” or brimming full with “the wows” look what I have. Your choice!
The heaviest burdens are the ones you have chosen to bear alone…”Cast all your burdens on Me , saith the Lord” Psalms 55:22.

Friday, April 05, 2013

A contented man enjoys the blessings that God has given him; savoring both the gifts and the Giver.
Envy is specific, wanting what you have; while greed is an increasable desire for everything anyone has.

Greed is about wanting more; envy is about having less.
Christian contentment is the ability to appreciate what one has while admire what someone else has at the same time.
Greed is the ultimate poverty.
Envy is so driven by what it does not have, so it cannot enjoy what it does.

Thursday, April 04, 2013

Compassion migrates from the heart, to the mind, to service.
Real beauty is in the eye of the beholder, while residing in the heart of the believer, supported by a dedicated imagination.
In order for love to be understood it must be seen, felt, heard, and shared.
Few Christians are afflicted with excessive generosity.
If I am to give what I do not have, I must have a relationship with Him who has and is willing to share everything.

If I were to surrender hope, I also must surrender the meaning of my life.

Wednesday, April 03, 2013

Praise is self-addicting; so drink of it lightly.
Blending in to mediocrity is no achievement.
Love, anger, joy, sadness, compassion, and integrity are all enemies of complacency.
If you satisfied with who you are you will always be “as you were“.

Man slowly falls under a government that rules by the “tyranny of possibilities“, in which Congress and lawyers prosper by laws of their own making.
Complacency is paralyzed curiosity.

Tuesday, April 02, 2013

The progress of sin on your life is often more patient than the strength of your resistance.
Patience is hard to grow but blossoms into fields of plenty.
What I am unwilling to wait for, I will like not get or not enjoy.

Patience is always a self-discipline issue.
Time bears no measure where love is king.

It is easy to wait for a moment but for a year an army of patience seems not enough.
One can hasten into poverty or be patient for abundance.

Love touches and feeds every part of your being.
Leadership is the management of ideas through people.
Dedication is a pre-commitment of resources, energy, and purpose.
Your success will be measured by the achievements you have nurtured in others.
Thinking about doing right is the foundation of truth, which can only be realized by action.
Pride is thankfulness turned into self-gratitude.
The greatest honor of truth is its revelation in our daily lives.
