A Smoky Mountain HI

Here is a journey I make each day. Time flows on this side of eternity. I have aged as gracefully as reasonable as can be be expected, and yet feel not a day older in my mind. As I begin a life in the Smoky Mountains I hope you will share my journey as well. www.kleincabin.com

A tragedy crossed our lives and those lives that Jason Seal touched on his short journey through this world. Jason stepped into Heaven last night and the left a huge bottomless hole in the hearts and in the lives of his loved ones. While knowing he is in Heaven offers long term hope, it leaves little short term comfort.

How to you comfort the short journey of a son, brother,  and a twin brother in such a tragic way? All we can do is pray and offer a hug, for words will do little to ease the burden that J.R., Susan Josh and Trey bear.

So we pray in their behalf and trust the Father to do what we cannot.

To love God is one thing; to act accordingly is quite another!

Faith is more a choice than it is an experience.

You can be committed to evil as well as good.

What terror it is to live without Faith.

Jesus did not come for arbitration; but to provide salvation to the whole world.

God has determined your value; never allow the past or others to over- rule His love for you.

Evaluate your perceptions often, to keep on the right course.

The world never rewards like God will.

Love must be negotiated but never compromised.

Life is not about you, but Jesus in you!

Commitment the fuel for the long haul.

Without commitment you tend to refuel at Satan’s gas station.

Your parents’ love bears no comparison to God’s love for you.

Commitment is fear under Divine management.

Everyone is committed, the question is to what or to whom are you committed

Thursday, September 22, 2011

Your influences are seen before heard.

Never allow the sins of the past to exceed the Grace of the present.

Your value is not determined by what you have accomplished, but by the price Jesus paid for you on the cross.

Commitment is believing God, stubbornness is when you believe in something else.!

Commitment feeds love to you while you are in the desert.

Is you goal a Faith goal or a safe goal?

It is one thing to look old,,. it is another to act old.

You may have a disease but God has you!

Accomplishment is faith with its work shoes on!

Until you have you haven’t….Start now!

Prayers beat prognosis every time!

Surrendering is handing over the power of your life to another.
When I surrender to Christ instead of becoming a slave I become a son! In His presence I receive what I could never have had and acquire and received what was never to be mine. Eternal life is the result of my surrender and eternal joy the eternal smile on my life. Surrendering to Christ is gift to yourself that benefits every part of your world.

Management needs to be replaced by leadership.

Leadership is more about being where to go, than being in charge.

Hope endures to see what Faith has known!

Often success floats on a sea of failure.

Until you are endangered, you are not likely to grow!

A “sad moment” is when you first realize who God is, and who you are!

A “glad moment” is when you realized first, what has God has done for you that you did not know needed to be done.

Time is the fuel of living; get the best mileage possible!

I will tell you what I believe, but I will only do what I believe.

Effort is not about results but about growing stronger in what I believe.

You can only outlive a moment is if God is in that moment!

You do not go to church because you are perfect; you go because you are not!

No change - no growth!

Business is a part of your life but living is the task of life.

Too often our petty differences become obstacles.

Whatever we leave behind, should be what has been invested in others.

The choice is clear, to be a Christian, or to be mercifully useless.

The more you love, the less you stress.

The only way your life can be insignificant, is for you to be self-centered.

If all your company has done is provide a job, the company is a failure.

Friday, September 16, 2011

Failure is a lack of perseverance, not of lack of accomplishment.

Success means you have overcome lots of failures.

Opportunity overcomes busy hands.

Truth is not the product of opinion.

Never allow business to replace your life.

The boundaries of marriage are also the boundaries of your character.

One’s spiritual character revolves around one’s principles.

Marriage is an agreement that has become a commitment.

Joy is the flower of obedience.

The boundaries of marriage should bring you both comfort.

Whenever you are trying to measure up, measure inside first!

HOLY HELP!!

When we have nothing to say, the Holy Spirit does the talking for us!

Our most confused pleas to the Father are delivered by the Holy Spirit with perfect clarity.

What I cannot say, the Holy Spirit has!

I am moved by the Spirit to pray, when I would not, or could not!

When it is clear that I am hurting, the Spirit expresses that to the Father.

In order to pray without ceasing, I need all the help I can get.

Jesus taught us how to pray and the Spirit causes us to pray.

When I can not longer pray, the Holy Spirit is explaining what I no longer express..

When I can no longer feel God’s presence, the Holy Spirit feels for us.

Christianity is not about feeling, but is built on knowing, that the Holy Spirit is our constant companion.

Jesus left us so that the Father would send the Holy Spirit, who can never leave us.

“The steps of a righteous man are ordered of the Lord”… and the Holy Spirit sees that we get our order straight!

When I pray, I try to say what the Holy Spirit is already saying to the Father.

It is good to have better helping you towards the best!

The Holy Spirit will not tempt us but will lead us in to the Father’s will with thanksgiving.

The Holy Spirit is the perfect gift, from a loving Father, through a faithful Son!.

When I can do little, the Spirit ca do much!

The Holy Spirit is our lawyer, Jesus is our jury, and the Father accepts our plea.

When I stop running, the Spirit starts leading.

The Holy Spirit provides a Christian with a shared journey.

The Spirit leads us to truth, the Son pays our debts, and the Father welcomes us home!

HOPE PLUS+++

Hope is an investment that clears the present and explains the future.

Life is a blitz; hope is a bond on steroids.

Hope replenishes itself when used and the returns become a miracle.

Sow Hope and reap possibilities.

Faith is the vine and hope is the fruit.

Faith is the strength for the storm; hope is finding land on the other side.

Hope secures what Faith has conceived.

Faith and hope without God, as your focus, is totally useless!

Only God can deliver hope out of faith.

Remember God’s promises are more than hope or faith they are truth!

Faith sweats and works hard but never loses hope.

The truth that sets you free is the hope we have in Christ!

What God has said is not a hope; it is a promise.

Hope does not make you right but it makes your will to accept right!

To endure hardships, you need to be steadfast in hope.

Hope gives what fear tries to take away.
In Christians, God may see weak faith, but shores it up with strong hope.

From Faith comes Hope; it is just as natural as sunrise and sunset.

Give by Faith and receive in Hope.

Hope is the understanding that righteousness hungers for me.

When you repent of your sins, faith begets hope.

As a Christian, Faith becomes the arteries, and hope is the blood that flows through them.

Without Faith man perishes because without Faith, one cannot know God!

Without Faith man has no hope.

With Christ man abounds with both Faith and Hope, as he chooses.

The Father said, as your Faith is so shall it be!

So, believe and receive or pout and doubt and do without.

Because of Faith and Hope, a Christian is as consistent as he chooses to be!

Hope the reward of Faith.

One of the gifts of faith is expectations.

God gives more that you can, when you do more, than you should.

Faith carries the burdens of others further than they could alone.

Hope entertains the heart, when sorrows would blot out every joy.

Every blessing is a gift from someone’s prayers.

You are hopeless without God.

Your hopes in Christ are limitless.

As a Christian, the world tends to see your life as Christ’s. How are you measuring up?

When you learn to be thankful for the desert sands, then you begin to hear the abundant rains coming your way.

Whenever you are trying to measure up, measure inside first!

When your fears overtake your faith, you lose.

A faithful Christian can become what an unfaithful one can never be!

Wherever my loves are, so is my compassion.

Eternal life begins at salvation and it should allow death to find you in His service.

Learn to ask above your faith and deep into your hopes!

Faith has little to do with feeling and a lot to do with commitment!

Being good is a choice, being better requires effort, being best is a spiritual journey.

The depth of God’s love for you is impossible to fathom, and its heights have no boundaries.

Better for a few to believe too much, than for the many to believe too little.

Faith is an investment, fear is a debt.

The hand of the believer will do good works.

I always pay more for my stubbornness that I do for my ignorance.

May we learn to consecrate less on the possibility of losing God’s presence and more on enjoying His presence.

Never allow the joy of your success to exceed your joy of being a Christian.

You can fail and still be a Christian, but you can succeed and never know God…which means you have completely failed in this life.

Am I laying up treasures in Heaven to get there, or to enjoy when I do?

Secrete sins have open consequences.

Whenever I turn from God, the shadow of darkness is overwhelming.

The are no inconsequential sins, just as there are no inconsequential acts of righteousness.

Live in a way that ought to be remembered, not in a way that ought to be forgotten.

Stewing sin can become tasty; it is a acquired taste.

Fear blinds Faith, but Faith brings vision to the blind.

Fear limits your willingness to do God’s will, while faith increases it greatly.

Learn to do what you should, rather than doing what you can.

Your choice to do good is alive until you die!

You never fail alone; someone always fall with you.

We will be attending a funeral for our cousin’s husband and will not be sending Smoky Mountain HI for several days.

Counting only, nickels and noses, causes many churches closures.

God really will not care if we deviate just a bit from what we know He wants….the correct answer is FALSE!

Pray before the storm so you will be prepared in the storm.

A lot of folks do not want God’s help, they just want Him to stay out of the way…..He won’t!

Panic is not picnic for those in panic.

Forgiveness is final!

Sin is for the sinner to bear; the Christian has been forgiven.

Man has difficulty forgetting his forgiven sins, but God doesn’t.

Forgiven sin bears no weight, has no power, and does not count on judgment day!.

Only God can forgive sin and only man can commit sin!

What I have done is less important that what I will do!

Yesterday, cannot be changed; today, I am at work; and tomorrow, is pregnant with possibilities.

Life begins at forgiveness and blossoms in discipleship!

If you confess your sins and turn from your wicked ways, I will cleanse you from all unrighteousness.. God did not say…. I might!!!

Salvation is for the sinner…only!

Trickle down Grace, from God the Father, through Jesus Christ, our Savior, delivered by the Holy Ghost, to a repentant sinner like me!

God gave, Jesus, His only Son, to pay for what you could not, to forgive what you cannot, so you can live like you would not!

The rules are clear. What you forgive on earth will be forgiven in Heaven. What you will not forgive on earth, will not be forgiven in Heaven! What that does to our eternal security, theologians debate; but I don’t care to find out!

Having your sins forgiven is your special blessing; none will ever be greater!

A Christian will never hear about his sins from God again, from man…well, that is another question.

After salvation the past has no power…None… Nada… Zip.

A Christian is to be envied; he has a forgiven past and a spotless future!

Salvation is a gift that only a sinner can open.

Perseverance is what you can do, and Grace is for what you cannot do!

From God’s view, a Christian has no past, only a present, and a future.

Bad consequences never feel good...never!

Good consequences always feel good …always!

Whenever you reject God’s way; darkness shields the approach of sin.

Bitterness is the fruit of anger.

Obedience throws light into the midst of darkness.

Hope is the Future!

The future is full of what ought to be!

The past is there for understanding and direction, and understanding, not for shame and guilt.

Forget what you can, forgive what you can’t.

The future is crammed with untouched possibilities.

The bright lights of tomorrow exceed the dim realities of today.

Possibilities become probabilities as the days march on.

The future holds what faith can see.

Often the present and the past are the “shadows of death” we will face, but the future is untouched hope at its best!

A hand in the future can pull you out of the past.

The thought of Heaven brightens whatever darkness surrounds you.

Faith finds energy in the hope that surrounds tomorrow.

Where He is I will also be...is enough hope for me!

Yesterdays infections are cured by tomorrow’s hopes.

Your affection for eternity is a gift from God!

Flee into hope; it is the “warm fuzz” of life’s journey.

The past is consumed with can’t be’s, while the future is saturated with can be’s!

In Heaven you will have no need of faith or hope but the love there, will be beyond comprehension.

We are born with eternity in our DNA; we long for it and seek it diligently.

Hope is a greater heritage than all the money you leave behind.

The world scoffs at our Hope; but we warm our souls by it.

Just as you cannot escape God’s wrath as an unbeliever; you cannot escape His love as a believer.

You can save yourself and those around you a lot of pain, by doing it God’s way first.

Whenever I say no to God, trouble is on the way.

Whenever I say yes to God, a blessing is born.

How often do we know God is right, but still choose to do it our way?
