A Smoky Mountain HI

Here is a journey I make each day. Time flows on this side of eternity. I have aged as gracefully as reasonable as can be be expected, and yet feel not a day older in my mind. As I begin a life in the Smoky Mountains I hope you will share my journey as well. www.kleincabin.com

Good news for one, may be bad news for another.

Celebrate what is right; never smile at what is wrong.

Business makes a profit at the expense of its customers.

Good businesses provides less profit and more value.

Love is the “most” greatest profit from any relationship.

The world has declared “open season” on faith.

God has proclaimed: Faith is the substance of everything worthwhile.

Hard work is failure’s worst enemy.

If you are doing right, you can do no wrong.

Hope often bears the scars of discouragement.

Your intelligence should lead you to God, if not, question it.

I have yet to see a tree evolve into a monkey!

Catching up often involves listening.

To form opinions, only use truth.

Be careful, but be consistent.

“Smart” means you know what to do; “Wise” means you are doing it.

You can not solve all of your problems but you can pray about them.

By the way, Faith is the power of prayer.

Are you laughing with someone or at them?

The choices are yours, the results are not.

Be prepared; but ask God if you are right!

If you are depressing, you cannot be inspiring.

Just because you are fallible, does not mean that you should not try.

Trial and effort is more about the effort than the trial.

Giving up is guaranteed failure.

Judge less and forgive more!

When you judge others, even when you are right, you are wrong.

Becoming a Christian always alters your life, always!

Progress that compromises your principles, isn’t!

Set out each day to find a spiritually hungry person, then feed them.

Monday, October 25, 2010

Plan your day but listen for God‘s direction!

Doing less than you should is a moral weakness.

Profit, at the expense of another, is a loss.

Focus requires mental sweat.

Forever, is a long time to be alone; “Hell must be hell“!

Loneliness is a choice or a lack or faith.

Someone else is always looking for a friend.

You are special, accepting it is the difficult part.

Pave the way for someone else to be happy, today!

With Jesus you can make a mark that no force can erase.

Love brings out the best in you or points to the worst.

An obligation is a privilege you have to complete.

If things are going south they will eventually end up going north.

“Sorry” is a burden that few can bear for long.

Forgiveness takes more of a burden off of you than the forgiven.

The good thing about growing old is less people are impacted by your failures.

Whatever you are “stewing” about your family has to eat as well.

Worry is a mockery of Faith.

Stress and adversity are the parents of Faith.

Patience is the child of Faith.

A birthday is something you cannot remember that others do.

A paper tells me how old I am, and the mirror reinforces it.

Everyday you live, moves you further from when you came and closer to when you are going.

It is only your Christian birthday that has any real meaning.

A birthday, is a celebration with others, to help you get over how sadly wonderful it is to grow old.

The hardest things to remember are the things forgotten.

The cool of the morning and the warmth of being held by one you love are but a few of the gifts of life.

The highest form of respect is not earned but is given.

Most lives need more forgiveness than praise.

Bring your life to the shores of eternity, climb aboard the "Good Ship Zion" for the ride of your life.

Love cannot flourish in a trickle down form.

For love to be successful it needs to be free flowing.

A figure of speech is a point of reference.

Success is built not attained.

Being a blessing is a genuine privilege.

Friday, October 15, 2010

Purpose evolves as a resistance to failure and is empowered by the possibility of success.

Hope endures the tarnish of failures.

Patience is the safety valve of anticipation.

You can never “get even” with the right attitude.

The less you have to enjoy, the more of what you have becomes enjoyable.

Temptations are the termites of commitment,

Commitment is a collection of principles I refuse to let change.

To make a dent in life one must be willing to endure a bruise or two.

Imagination is the joy of hope.

If you have learned to count your blessing, you are much richer than those who haven't.

Wednesday, October 13, 2010

Success creates its own energy.

Principles are ideas I have put into action.

Recognizing good does not require a knowledge of bad.

It is better to be tired than to act tired.

Love is the fruit of commitment.

Never do less than your testimony demands.

Asking less of yourself is a poor way to succeed.

There is no hope in darkness, so spend no time looking therein.

Part of vision is seeing what could better, as well as what is.

Old friends are the anchors to which new friends are tied.

Monday, October 11, 2010

Better to be tired from doing good, than to be thrilled while doing wrong.

Gather hope from all the lives you meet and sow it not sparingly into lives in need.

Tether your dreams to the foundation of expectation.

In order to dream large, plant deep.

A pocket full of sunshine is better that acres of hopelessness.

When you get even with someone you are already behind!

The atheist believes he is smarter than God.

An optimist believes the best and the pessimist prepares for the worse.

The pessimist looks to the optimist to see what he should fear.

Time tends to run out at the wrong time.

Friday, October 08, 2010

Sacrificing for the ones you love is a blessing, but a sacrifice nonetheless.
Running interference for others will likely interfere with your life.

Good may be better than bad but it is still not your best.

Craftsmanship is a lifelong study.

Stop wondering if you can and do what you can.

Thursday, October 07, 2010

Every one fails but no one wants the credit.

Forget your good deed before it turns into pride.

Remember a kindness and turn it into a memory.

Voice your approval more than your disapproval and be sure to keep score!

Eighty percent of life is good, ten percent is bad, and ten percent hard, measure your reactions accordingly.

Wednesday, October 06, 2010

Even when I walk in another man’s shoes I tend to see only what I want.

Pride is for the foolish and humility is for the wise.

Police your life or the police will.

A helping hand delivers more good than a night of prayer.

Without the night of prayer the helping hand will not know what to do!

Tuesday, October 05, 2010

Balance should be determined by the Bible, rather than by any ideas of man.

Your treasures are best carried, in the lives of others.

Ingenuity is fuelled by faith, famine and fortitude.

Complexity is usually the result of the neglect of simplicity.

A rewarding life is a daily journey in the Grace of God sown from your life to another.

Monday, October 04, 2010

Love scales the wall of misunderstanding.

A clean slate is still designed to be used.

Fair play is more fun when you win but means more when you lose.

An ugly heart can have a pretty face.

Better to work too hard than too little!

Sunday, October 03, 2010

In Christianity it is finder’s keepers for sure!

Efficiently is organizing things you do not want to do but need to do in a hurry.

Patience is a process of internal discipline.

Few folks understand the value of understanding.

Retirement means you have time to work on your wife’s to do list..and was I in a hurry to do that?

Saturday, October 02, 2010

Without change you will always be what you were, is that enough?

Never put a tombstone over your dreams.

Shared love is never wasted.

Too often curiosity becomes the victim of education.

Life teaches you lessons that you thought you had learned.

Friday, October 01, 2010

When you only rely on yourself you have a fool for a friend.

Time is the fuel for the fires of life.

There is never time for everything but there is time for you to do what you should!

May your last breath be full of anticipation, expectation, and ripe with possibilities!

Time is easier to talk about than to live without.
