A Smoky Mountain HI

Here is a journey I make each day. Time flows on this side of eternity. I have aged as gracefully as reasonable as can be be expected, and yet feel not a day older in my mind. As I begin a life in the Smoky Mountains I hope you will share my journey as well. www.kleincabin.com

The subject is Jesus on the Cross dying for your sins. Just some thoughts.

Jesus was born to die, so that He could be the atonement for your sins. This atonement was not out of pity for you or anyone else but to illustrate the hate that God has for sin and the extraordinary effort that was needed to pay for your justification.

God did not send Jesus to pay for your sins just because God loved you but because of His nature, There had to be some justification for Him to be able to forgive you for your sins, finely and completely. Thus Jesus came to bridge that gap that no human or no collection of humans ever could provide.

Therefore, Jesus did not come to the Cross out of pity, love or any other reason but that the Cross was necessary for your redemption. Jesus is not your Savior between you and God the Father but Jesus was the redemption God provided for you, Yes, God loves you and yes God wants your redemption but without Jesus bearing your sin on the Cross, God, being just, could not forgive you. So, in that process,Jesus, also became your Savior. It took Jesus dying on the Cross to supply the atonement and then being raised from the dead that He became your Savior. When you have repented and exercise your Faith in Jesus, it allows Jesus, the Savior,  to live in your own heart.

Without the resurrection of Jesus the whole atonement process would have just been a good story. The power of the Cross is that, God through the Holy Spirit, raised Jesus from the dead to be your living perfect Savior, giving Christianity the only living Savior, ever!.

Jesus on the Cross is window into how God hates sin. Therefore, when God looks at your sins, He sees Jesus on the Cross paying for your redemption. So then, God can delight in forgiving you for your sins.

‪It is so very difficult to be fair when you have already have made a decision. ‬

‪Truth is not about fairness but about the facts. ‬

‪Prejudice is about opinion not about facts. ‬

‪Facts are not influenced by emotions, or previous ideas, but both of these influence one’s understanding of them.

God is not intimidated or impressed by the length, the breath or the number of your prayers, but He is, by the sincerity of them. ‬

‪Prayer guarentees you an audience with God. Righteous prayers guarantee action. Selfish prayers not so much. ‬

‪Prayers are not bargain chips with God that you may use to change His mind but they are His gift to you from Him.
