May you always remember and then live the idea, that God’s plans are far better than my dreams.
So often, I find myself chasing a dream and then losing my way in the process.
“His (God’s) plans are above mine”... is a lesson not easily learned and even harder to remember.
One of the difficulties of having a “free will” and trusting God is understanding that God cannot choose to be in conflict with His character but we as humans know that we not only can but often do!
How often do I find myself doing so little, while thinking it is very important, so I can neglect what must be done.
Choices are one of the troubles of having a “free will”. They are also one of the blessings.
Doing what I should instead of what I could, is a troubling dilemma.
If you can see yourself, as being successful without God; you really don’t understand success.
Too many preachers are so busy “lowering the boom” on us, that they forget to “crack the window of heaven”, for us to see in, every once in a while.
Preachers that are constantly telling us, how sorry we are without Jesus, often, neglect to tell us how special we are with Jesus.
Jesus prepared to preach for thirty years but only preached three.
“Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”
The less you study, the less you have to say; no matter how long it takes you to say it.
If you can see yourself, as being successful without God; you really don’t understand success.
A Smoky Mountain HI
Here is a journey I make each day. Time flows on this side of eternity. I have aged as gracefully as reasonable as can be be expected, and yet feel not a day older in my mind. As I begin a life in the Smoky Mountains I hope you will share my journey as well. www.kleincabin.com
