The balance between faith and hope is called work.
What cannot be said or done in love; should never be said or done at all.
We tends to undervalue what they have, and overvalue what they want.
Preferences are what I feel comfortable with; standards are what God feels comfortable with.
God’s standards are in the Bible; man’s preferences are in the church doctrines, rules and regulations.
If the church has to tell me how to dress and how to live, likely they think, I cannot get it "right" from God.
