Retired summer 2010. I am married (wife, Carol, 55 years) with two married children and four grandchildren...one Toy Poodle. Presently live in Tennessee or Florida but spending summers in our cabin in the East Tennessee Smoky Mountains near Gatlinburg. Five + acres, three streams, and two ponds. Taught college 13 years Florida, Alaska and Tennessee, wife also a teacher. She teaches computer, ABE, GED etcetera. I was the evening supervisor of an adult education school of about 900 students. Minister of counseling at New Hope Fellowship Church of the Nazarene.

Our Golden Anniversary 50 years of sharing the "Good Life"



Marriage is about committed love lived out moment by moment, day by day for a lifetime.

Love and marriage is when your hearts grows together so that you can feel the heartbeat of the other.

Love opens up the possibly you can have together that you could never have apart.

Our “Golden Anniversary” represents 50 years of belonging together, on our way to forever together.

Luck has nothing to do with a happy marriage; it only comes from hard work, sacrifice, a willingness to love no matter what, no mater when, and never allowing the bad in life to overrun the good.

Marriage is not something you understand but something you share and drawl strength from, while giving strength to one another.
