If you have not learned to enjoy the moment, then the happiness of an hour and the joys of a lifetime will soon slip away.
Character is an accumulation of many small decisions made over a lifetime.
Your character develops better when old good decisions are replaced with better ones.
The willingness to consider doing wrong is the key to doing wrong.
Never leave a welcome mat out in front of temptation.
Temptation is your enemy not the provider of your desires.
Desires resolved by temptation lead to destruction, disappointment and depression.
Joy comes from the Lord, happiness is a gift from the Lord, and contentment comes from no other source. Contentment comes either from the Lord or from being thoroughly deceived by Satan.
Happiness is choice but so is despondency.
Despondency is harder to escape than happiness is to embrace.
A Smoky Mountain HI
Here is a journey I make each day. Time flows on this side of eternity. I have aged as gracefully as reasonable as can be be expected, and yet feel not a day older in my mind. As I begin a life in the Smoky Mountains I hope you will share my journey as well. www.kleincabin.com
