Cabin thoughts
We recently spent the Memorial Day weekend at the cabin, found the area teaming with late spring, and early summer activities.
As it is a new cabin. I am constantly amazed at the new things that need fixed, repaired or paid attention to again.
We will be there for the summer and will “hopefully” get it all together. Although I find that, most people do not want all of it or if it is together for some folk, you have to rearrange it for the next one. Most folks only want a small part; so keeping it altogether may not be as important as I once thought.
A tree fell off the mountain behind us and landed about 5 feet from the cabin and as I look up it appears that there will be more on the way. The pond looks like a cup of milk chocolate and the front lawn does not yet exist. The mulberry tree that I planed from Florida seems to have adapted well.
Here are few thoughts for the day:
Effort is the currency of accomplishment.
If it were easy success would slide down hill.
The real thrill in life is the thrill of life.
Friends are the diamonds of our journey.
Mother's not only give you life but they sweeten it for you.
Today is mother's special day but they are special everyday.
Imagination is a gift to the hopeful.
I asked him is there was a methodology to his stupidity.
He said that stupidity was repeating the same mistake but this time expecting an applause.
